PopVault.com started as a personal project (read: obsession) with tracking down and cataloguing toys and other items from our youth in the seventies, trying to remember certain ones and figure out what they were called, and where they are now...

Some of the early sparks which spawned this site were things like PDQ Egg Nog mix, "cake in a can", Evel Knievel stunt bikes, SSP cars, the rare and valuable Mattel Road King Mountain Masters set, and a board game called Scrambled Egg which we still haven't tracked down anywhere.

Being web designers and database developers, naturally all the information we started accumulating was kept in a database, and as it grew it seemed time to put it out on the web for others to see, perhaps spark some old memories for others, and allow people to post their memories and comments, ask for help identifying items from their youth, etc...

Thus PopVault.com was born. Enjoy and feel free to contact us with any questions, suggestions, etc.
